Markt in Eindhoven, Research development opportunities I NEN 2580

In order to provide the right property data for, among other things, the research into the development possibilities of this property, we measured the existing situation of this property for the owner using a laser scanner and converted these measurement data into a BIM model.

This municipal monument from 1926 on the west side of the Markt in Eindhoven consists of commercial space on the ground floor and two upper floor residences. We have also drawn up a NEN 2580 measurement report for the commercial space at the BG.

BIMnD carried out the following work:

  • Scan object and convert point cloud to BIM model in ArchiCAD;
  • Drawing up NEN 2580 measurement report for the rental of the retail space;

Based on the BIM model, the architect was able to provide insight into the various development options with corresponding yield calculations for each scenario, enabling the owner to make a well-considered choice.
