More and more users of production environments are choosing to gain more insight into their real estate and installations through the use of a digital twin.

By using a digital twin in the design / renovation process, all parties involved have a better understanding of the existing and new situation, so that better design choices can be made and failure costs can be avoided. By means of, among other things, clash checks, they can see, for example, whether there are no conflicts between pipes and supporting structures. In this case, the client wanted to see whether a new production line fit within the existing environment.
