Scan to BIM (Digital twin) for maintenance and management.
Digital twin of a monumental lifting bridge for maintenance and management.
We have been able to digitise this iron lifting bridge over the canal in Eindhoven for our client for the purpose of maintaining the management. This magnificent bridge dates from the first quarter of the 20th century and consists of iron pillars, an iron bridle, deck and fencing.
We measured the bridge with 3D laser scanners and converted this data (point cloud) into a 3D model in Revit.
Using this model, the manager can visualise maintenance work and make all quantities available to maintenance parties.
The 3D model and the point cloud provide all parties involved with a reliable file (quantities and areas) before the start of each project.
Would you also like to digitise an object we would like to raise a cup of coffee with you to go through the possibilities.
This video shows the point cloud which we used as a base for our as built 3d model in Revit.
